Stoned Jesus

GENRE Psychedelic / Stoner / Doom Rock
HOME Kiev, Ukraine

Igor (Vocals, Guitars) / Sergii (Bass) / Viktor (Drums)

STONED JESUS hails from Kiev, Ukraine, and they are doubtlessly the biggest band to emerge on Eastern Europe's stoner/psychedelic/doom scene recently. Started in 2009 by guitarist/vocalist Igor as his solo project, they toured Russia and Ukraine in early 2010, releasing their highly-anticipated debut "First Communion" few months later (re-released on vinyl in Spring 2013).

2011 saw them changing direction on "Stormy Monday" EP and more shows followed, confirming their reputation as one of the most spectacular bands to experience live. Recorded late 2011, STONED JESUS' second full-length "Seven Thunders Roar" showed their constant desire to reach beyond and push forward. Less doom and more psychedelic, it peaks with 16-min long "I'm The Mountain" epic, the most progressive and ambitious track from the band so far. Released in Spring/Summer 2012, it has become the most requested item on their European tours

They began 2013 with a new drummer Viktor, a new video and a new 7" released just before another tour. In August, they self-released a compilation of jams and improvisations "The Seed, Vol. 1", a download-only collection serving as a fundraising weapon for their next full-length "The Harvest", released on February 24th 2015, and followed by a European Tour in March!

This year, to celebrate the fifth anniversary of "Seven Thunders Roar", STONED JESUS will performs sets featuring their most famous album in its entirety. They are at work on new material as well, so keep and eye out for more updates!

Beastmaker

GENRE Doom Metal / Occult Rock
HOME Fresno, California (Usa)

Trevor William Church (Guitar, Vocals) / John Tucker (Bass) / Andres Alejandro Saldate (Drums)

''In a world of pop music we are freaks."

Purveyors of some of the most ecstatically thunderous and raw doom metal to emerge in decades, this three-man riffing machine from Fresno, California, are manifestly the real deal. BEASTMAKER's sound is instantly recognisable and yet thrillingly otherworldly, like all your favourite riffs fed through some perverse malevolent prism and reborn in fresh, overdriven grotesquery.

Bursting into the consciousness of the world’s doom hordes with their debut EP "You Must Sin" in 2015 and debut album "Lusus Naturae" the following year (both via Rise Above Records), BEASTMAKER have already won over countless converts, not least with an extensive European Tour in 2016 with label mates Blood Ceremony, climaxing with a much-praised appearance at the hallowed Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, Holland. Voted ‘Best emerging metal band’ by MetalAssault.com and among 2016’s Top 10 doom releases by Cvltnation.com that same year, they hit the ground running and earned a formidable reputation as a crushing live act.

But while they may superficially appear to servants of a strict Sabbathian code, there is plenty of room for manoeuvre within the band’s titanic sound. The result of this feverish desire to expand their sonic universe is new album "Inside The Skull", a bruising tour-de-force of sinister riffs, skewed blues and looming horror, it is simply one of the heaviest and most mesmerising albums you will hear in 2017, replete with a special cameo or two.

Erupting from the underground, this beast is alive and ready to howl.
